The Diagonal Mar Shopping Centre is in a privileged, unique setting on the coast of the city of Barcelona, just touching the Mediterranean and surrounded by several beaches.

The nearest beaches are:<\/p>

– La Playa de Llevant, upgraded in 2006, is a place for finding peace and quiet away from the crowds. Since that time, 1,200 metres of the beach has been developed as a beach for dogs.<\/p>

– The Playa de la Mar Bella and Nova Mar Bella were created during the urban renewal that took place for the Olympic Games in 1992. It is a quiet beach popular with young people and locals from the Sant Martí district.<\/p>

– Zona de baños del Fòrum is a stretch of the coast transformed into a salt-water pool accessed via concrete steps.<\/p>
